Ephesians 1:3-6,11,17 Purposed in Him
Verse 3: Spiritual blessing is divine privileges and available resources now. Each season of life has resources already in place to be released to us. We have to tap into it. Heavenly places is the divine place where all things originated. It was not originated in the earth. As Jesus rose to sit at the right hand of the Father, we also rose in grace to be able to sit at the master's table.
Verse 4: We are supposed to be devoted to learning about Him. We are always to be thirsty and hungry for His love and learning about His love. This keeps us from being vulnerable to the accusation of Satan when he stands before God. Our consistency in learning about the love of God and being more like Him gives the devil no legal right to oppress, delay, or obstruct the move of God in our lives. We have to remain repentant.
Verse 5: The death of Jesus and His resurrection gave us life and restored our identity. It was always God's will for us to know and be like Him. He created us in His image and likeness.
Verse 6: Our praise is our acceptance of His grace; therefore, our praise should not be in vain. Beloved = royal priesthood. Acceptance means we are ready to fulfill kingdom purpose because we are bought with a price.
Verse 11: God's plan is eternal and unchangeable. We live too much for today and do not think about what is to come. We live now to prepare for later when we reign. This is why every experience in life is necessary-good-bad-or other. It prepares us for purpose. It prepares and matures us for what has been waiting for our manifestation. We have to get in position spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. Life is pre-written. He knows everything that we need in order to be broken in the right areas. The more stubborn one is, the harder things are because the way of the transgressor is hard.
Verse 17: God has to give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation. It does not come to us. We cannot assume to do anything in and of ourselves. We have to inquire of the Holy Spirit because He teaches us and leads us. Jesus gave reverence to God and acknowledged that He does nothing of Himself and He speaks only what the Father says. Jesus was sent and so are we. We are sent to do the will of the Father. God has to give instruction for anything to work. Perceptions will always be flawed if God is not present. He has to give revelation. The Holy Spirit is the source and understanding only comes from Him.
