The Demonic Spirit _ Octopus
This particular demon is operating in the churches, households, and in the Body of Christ. It is very cunning and without discernment one can easily entertain it repeatedly.
The spirit of the octopus is a ruler (a master demonic spirit of darkness) of this world. For Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. This spirit has a head, 2 arms, and 6 tentacles. The ink is how it disguises itself and camouflages itself to blend in as not to be detected.
The arms and tentacles represent different spirits that operate under the head and function to desecrate the host. If one spirit gains entry, it brings 7 more. We must be diligent to guard our thoughts and hearts because this spirit is active and predominant right now.
Matthew 12:43-45
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
The octopus is a group of spirits. The head is the dominate part. It intimidates and seduces the host (target victim) until that person is under its control. It is very venomous. It will break the person down until he or she compromises more and more with the flesh (fleshly desires). This gives more control to the ruler because more power is given to the flesh. The more powerful the flesh becomes the weaker the spirit man becomes. This process gives dominion to the octopus. This is why we pray for no sin to have dominion over us. Sin attracts sin.
The arms are used to catch the target. When he grabs the person, he gets the person’s attention and initiates a plan to find a way of access. This spirit wants to torment and control. It is very crafty when finding areas of vulnerability and will hide in plain sight. The spirit is masterful at con forming to the environment like Satan who transform into light for his devious purpose. The objective of the octopus is to devour. Some can be delivered but still be dealing with these demons. They will lay low and camouflage themselves to make the person believe they are free. It will take a person with great discernment to know the difference.
Beware of those who are self-righteous. Since the weaponry of this demon is intimidation, manipulation, and domination, the tentacles can represent religion, fear, pride, lust, jealousy, greed, false doctrine, and deception. The tactics of this ruler is oppression, blockage from succeeding (holding back), seduction, and bullying. The ink that the octopus spits out blinds, confuses, and poisons the people’s perception and convinces them that scripture does not apply to them. They come to truly think that they are excluded with a mindset of their situation is special. Keep this in mind, Satan always perverts what God has created and seeks to have people doubt what God has said and to question what God really means.
This spirit applies mental and physical pressure. As the spirit does this to the host, the host will in turn do the same to others. The person will try to keep someone confused etc. This demon convinces the person to enter into ungodly sexual relationships, orgies, porn, masturbation, lustful desires, and takes natural desires and perverts them. This spirit encourages people to fulfill their lustful needs outside of what God ordains. People who operate under this spirit have addictive behavior, patterns of obsession, fits of rage, excessive cravings (gluttony) and they try to represent ungodly relationships as a godly union. Example is homosexuality, gay marriage, sleeping with and claiming married people as your spouse, swinging, etc. There is also compulsive and destructive behavior.
Spirit and flesh are always in conflict. Habitual sin of the flesh is an open door. This spirit can manifest through uncommon headaches, migraines, nightmares, blocked dreams, mental confusion, pressure on the back or front of head, blurred or distorted vision, shortness of breath, smothering or feelings of choking, reoccurring patterns an cycles, and this ruler bends and twists a person’s will and flesh. You may begin to see deformities manifest for those that have been occupied for a while. The dominance of this ruler can also produce brain and mental disorders.
It is apparent that one has to be intentional about being delivered and staying delivered. This ruler will not be cast out by religious prayers. This demonic spirit is very strong. You have to know what you are contending with. The demon spoke to the gentleman that was excited about casting out devils, but that devil said Peter and Paul I know but who are you. Jesus, I know but who are you. It will take spiritual authority and deep faith to cast this out. The apostles could not free the possessed boy but only Jesus could.
The octopus’ purposes to dismantle ministries from within. It can be prayer, preaching, etc. It is a spirit to overthrow. There has to be temperance in all things. If one is delivered from a tentacle or an arm, that spirit can regenerate and come back. The octopus must be decapitated. The head is idolatry, witchcraft, control. Remember the main tactic is perversion.
